Day 12(NAAC VISIT-FIRST DAY)

The first day of the NAAC visit has arrived. Stephen Sir is taught some yoga lessons in the first hour. Sir emphasised the advantages of practising yoga daily. After that, we have Maya teacher's class. Even though teachers were busy with NAAC peer meetings, she asked us to write the A-Z attributes of a teacher and then left. Then there was Shafi Sir's class. And he explained Piaget's Theory Of Intellectual Development to us. Schema, Assimilation, and Accommodation are the three important aspects of the particular topic. Even though the planned activities had to be changed due to peer team members' concerns about the COVID protocol, but students managed to present the cultural programme put on after lunch that was a visual delight.

Today was the day we were diving deep into the realms of locomotive rhythm, and the poem 'From a Railway Carriage'. As the verses unfolded, one could almost hear the chug-chug of the train, feel the rush of the wind against one's face, and visualize the rapidly changing landscapes. The students sat there, eyes wide and hearts captivated. It was evident - they weren't just learning about the poem; they were experiencing it. As the sun set on my last day at St. Mary's HSS, I couldn't help but feel a cocktail of emotions - excitement for the future, nostalgia for the days gone by, and a deep gratitude for all that I've learned and the people I've met.
