Day 14
We are back to academics after a day of rest following the exhausting days of NAAC visit preparation. Meekha ma'am handled the optional session in the first hour. She handed out the seminar topics and instructed us to write about the characteristics of a good and bad teacher in our lives. It was quite easy for me to write about because I've grown up with teachers with these qualities. I consider myself fortunate to have had teachers from the Institute of English in my life. They were the ones who assisted me in unlearning certain regressive concepts. A small number of students spoke about their experiences in the aforementioned categories. Because of their negative experiences with teachers as children, several of them were unable to control their tears. And all of this served as a reminder of the necessity of being a good teacher with a diverse set of skills.
