Data Collection
Navigating the challenges of data collection in a bustling classroom environment, I was faced with the task of acquiring accurate data amidst the chaos of three overlapping classes in a hallway. Traditional methods would have been ineffective given the noise and interruptions. My solution was purposive sampling. Instead of sampling the entire class, I strategically chose 16 students who best fit the criteria of my project. This not only ensured a more controlled and distraction-free environment but also prioritized the quality of data over sheer quantity. This experience underscored the importance of adaptability and the need to pivot methodologies in the face of unforeseen research challenges.
