Duties

Today reminded me of a time when things were simpler, a time when we relied more on our hands and less on machines. It's intriguing how the absence of something we take for granted, like electricity, can make us appreciate the smaller things in life.

Though the day was filled with duties, it was also filled with unexpected joys. Perhaps, every once in a while, we should switch off, even if the power doesn't force us to.
